A Visit to the Matouk Factory Store

I went home to Massachusetts for Thanksgiving and found myself in Fall River, MA on Black Friday in search of Portguese food with my family and to also secretly slip a trip into the Matouk Factory Store. I have wanted to visit for some time and it is only a hop skip and a jump away from my families home but it hadn’t taken priority, until now!

Up until a few years ago I had no idea that the company was based out of Massachusetts. I learned at the store that the history of Matouk linens dates back to 1929. John Matouk arrived in the US and began importing the finest European lines and laces for sale to American consumers. The company was created to embody his passion for luxury and commitment to quality. Matouk is a third generation family company that to today has his legacy woven into timeless articles of bed, bath and table linen.

The store is worth the trip as you can indulge in the same linens that are regularly featured in top design magazines, the finest retailers and used and loved by many interior designers. These luxurious textiles are made right here in the USA at the companies manufacturing facility that is right next to the store. Since it was the day after Thanksgiving the factory was closed but I’d love to go back and take a peek inside!

In the store you can find first quality products at generously discounted prices as well as slightly irregular products at deep discounts. I was able to pick up a handful of mix and match towels that would be considered seconds or irregular products at an absolute incredible price. I paid from $1.99 for wash cloths to $9.99 for irregular one off towels. We were all joking that if your initials were GBM you would have hit the towel jackpot as like many other factory stores they had already monogrammed items at rock bottom prices and we found so many items with that monogram. Who ever and where ever you are GBM you have fabulous taste!

There was so much product! Everything from towels, duvets, sheets, shams, soap, down comforters, bath rugs and more! You can even get your items monogrammed there. The catch is that you have to visit the store in person to receive these discounted prices. They do not take orders online or over the phone. Time to put Fall River, MA on your to visit list!
