The holiday season is in full swing and Christmas is literally right around the corner. I have my Christmas plans locked and ready. I’ll be spending Christmas eve and part of Christmas Day at my fathers in Massachusetts and then we head north for the White Mountains in New Hampshire. I’m looking forward to getting in some skiing before heading back home to Brooklyn!
While I am not spending Christmas Day at my Brooklyn apartment I was excited to get in the Christmas spirit by doing a little decorating. For the past 9 or so years I’ve always had a small tabletop gold tinsel tree but decided that this was finally the year I’d go big. As you can tell from my photos I couldn’t go all out as my apartment is limited on space but I made it my personal mission to find a tree that would fit my space and needs. I took to the internet and found this skinny 7 foot tree that has a small foot print and knew it was the one!
I have been collecting angel ornaments since I was a child but I wasn’t able to go get them in New Hampshire before the holiday. I made due with the ornaments I had from my tiny tree and hope to bring the rest back with me when I’m up there after Christmas. I had a hard time finding a tree topper which is why my top of my tree is bare but when I was back in New England the other weekend for my cousins wedding I found the perfect hand painted Angel tree topper at a an antique store and I knew it was coming home with me. It feels so much more complete now!
Wishing you a very happy Holiday season!
